Roma Salsa Festival Is Back! Dance and Shows On Nov 19-21

After the great success of last year with attending people from all over Italy and even from abroad, the Roma Salsa Festival has emerged as one of the most important events on the international salsa scene.

Its 5th edition will run from November 19 to 21, with 3 exciting days of dance, music, shows and more than 60 hours of workshop at all levels with national and international artists, for a growing event with a unique program.

There will be classes of Cuban salsa, rueda de casino, salsa Puerto Rican, New York style salsa, salsa swing, Los Angeles style, rumba, gestures, bachata, son, cha cha cha, Argentine tango, ragaeton, hip hop, and more.

And do not forget the live concerts that will accompany the evening of the festival, creating a magical atmosphere. At Rome Salsa Festival cultures, music, colors, people meet to give life to one of the funniest events of the year!                                                                                                                                             

So far this is a list of the confirmed artists: Thomas Guerrero y Santorico Dance Company, Adrian y Anita, Ana y Joel Masacote, Alberto Valdes y su Clave Negra, Tropical Gem, Maykel Fonts y Kirenia Cantin, Ahi Nama Dance Company di Antonella Albanese e Arnay, Adolfo Indacochea y Carla Voconi, Chiquito & Dominican Power, Kaytee and Vanessa, Manuel Mascarell y Sabrina Bravi, Swinguys, Jhesus Aponte, Sabor Colombiano, Wilmer y Maria, Sam Rabou, Acela Moras, Angelo Rito, African Jet, Grupo Alafia and Estudio Tropical.                                                                                        

While the confirmed DJs are: El Malo,  Ezios, Pedro, Mascalzone latino,  Giacomino, Graziano Rossi  Pio 4te.                                                                          

The Festival will take place in Ciampino at PalaCavicchi a facility of over 20,000 square meters, divided into 6 dance rooms.  Address: 130, Via Ranuccio Bianchi Bandinelli, Ciampino.                                                                                                                                                                                                                    From Termini station you can get on any train for Frascati, Albano, Velletri or Cassino and get off at Ciampino. Once at Ciampino’s railway station, you can reach PalaCavicchi by taxi or by bus (Cotral). Otherwise, from the underground Line A’s terminus of Anagnina you can jump on the Ciampino Airport-bound Cotral bus and get off in front of Palacavicchi.
