It’s not the usual music, nor the usual DJs, not the same venue, nor the same crowd, it’s “Supersonic Festival. Electronic Dance, Music and Lifestyle Festival”, the nomadic house music trip that starts tonight in Rome with the top international DJs visiting the capital and performing to please visiting and resident dance lovers.
Tonight at Salone delle Fontane, in the EUR area, the preview party will kick off the 4-month dance event. Jeff Mills, founder of the Underground Resistence band and one of the tecno gurus, from Detroit will play electro-tecno vibes along with Basti Schwarz of the Tiefschwarz, whereas Little Louie Vega, Ananè Vega and Luisito Quintero will propose their house music set. The next appointment is on March 5 with Sebastian Ingrosso of the Collettivo Swedish Maphia probably at Palazzo dei Congressi, always in the EUR area.
In the forthcoming weeks Eric Prydz (on March 26), Martin Solveig (April 16), Tiesto, Chemical Brothers, the legendary Ed Simon and Tom Rowlands who will present the remix of their latest work “Further”, and many more are expected to be behind the decks of this European superclub aiming to bring to Rome the trendiest international dance music sounds from Miami to Berlin, from Ibiza to New York.
