A mix of circus, dance, theatre, visual arts, technology with the best crews from France, Belgium, and Canada. Apripista, the Festival of Contemporary Circus will start on May 1 and will run for the whole month, with the last appointment on June 1. This expanding genre will bring to the Auditorium – Parco della Musica eight companies and 12 shows.
The Canadian contorsionist Angela Laurier will perform on May 22 in a very peculiar show, “I wish I could laugh,” featuring her mentally ill brother.
Defracto’s jugglery, a graphic and rythmic discipline, will please your eyes on May 7 and 8.
The choreography of balance on a steel pipes structure will be the core of the shows scheduled for tomorrow and May 2. Whereas lines, dots, letters and numbers projected on a flat surface will interact with bodies on May 2 and 3.
Bodies in movement, adapting to changing spaces, will be the main theme of the performance by Press on May 28 and 29.
Music, sounds and little balls will be the main features of Vincent de Lavenere’s show on May 21.
Acrobacy will tell stories of love and friendship in the final nights: May 31 and June 1.
