Are you one of those persons that literally live to take pictures and always carry a photo camera with them? And you live in Rome or travel often here and love this city? Well, if you will also be in Rome on June 2, there is challenge you can’t miss: taking the best possible picture of Rome at sunrise. The “Roma 5:37” photo contest is organized by the Italian photo website Rumore Digitale.
It is collective flash mob spread all over the city at a very weird time, 5:37 am 🙂 From any point of Rome you like, including your room’s window if you’re very sleepy at that time of the day (or is it night?).
What really matters is that you actually take the picture between 05:37’00” and 05:37’59”. The Rumore Digitale guys are very serious about the time and they also invite you to sync your watch through this website.
And if you like, you can also show from where you want to take the perfect light (they chose this time exactly because there is a beatiful light) picture as some of them already did here.
And don’t forget that June 2 is a national holiday in Italy!
Don’t worry if the website and the Facebook event page are all in Italian, photography is a universal language and for English assistance or info you can contact them by email.
A selection of the best images of “Roma 5:37” will appear in a special gallery of Rumore Digitale. Wanna really be left out of it?
