Cat Lovers, This Weekend Rome Hosts Magnificat Show, Italy’s Top Feline Event
Persian, Turkish Van, Cornish Rex, Siberian, Abyssinian, Curial Bobtail, British, Burmese and Norwegian cats will be among the 600 pedigree pets of more than 200 different breeds from all over the world gathering at the Fiera di Roma on November 5-6 for the 11th edition of the Magnificat cat show.
This year’s main events will be a special Maine Coon showing with more than a 150 of these beautiful cats on stage and the “Black Cat” prize against all superstitions, followed by the feline beauty competition “Mister Gatto 2011” for pedigree cats.
Magnificat Show is the most important national event and one of the main cat shows in Europe with a 10,000 sq. meters exhibition space and 30,000 attendees last year.
There will be plenty of space dedicated to stands selling sector-related products with a broad assortment of items and veterinary products, a unique painting exhibit on cats and a photo contest devoted to pictures of our favorite pets.
But there will also be many occasions for meetings, debates, and seminars about our fascinating four-legged friends. The Fair will feature an adoption zone and an area for kids with shows, games, and other funny initiatives.
