The New Year’s Eve street free party on the backdrop of the Colosseum was a traditional downtown appointment in Rome. Due to the underground works, this huge event (tens of thousands of people usually show up) moves to Circus Maximus. Mostly Italian artists will be on stage. We particularly like Nina Zilli and Malika Ayane but we also invite you to lend your ears to the Italian reggae band Radici nel Cemento. From 9:30pm. Free of charge.
The complimentary downtown NYE event doubles this time with shows, performances and jugglers in the laser light tunnel from 10pm and fireworks at midnight along Via dei Fori Imperiali with the Colosseum in the background.
